Contrary to popular opinion, vitamins and supplements have just been discovered fairly recently A Japanese man Umetaro Suzi made the discovery of vitamins as important elements in maintaining balance of the body in 1910. To be more specific, he discovered Vitamin B1 or Thiamine in rice grains. Today, his discovery has led to a lot of findings on the importance of vitamins on one’s health.
Many scientists today emphasize how important it is to have dietary supplements in order to prevent many diseases such as heart ailments, cancer, asthma, premature aging, memory disorder, among others.
